I always loved how weirdly somber the endings to a lot of the classic games are so I tried to capture that.

I don't know much about retro games but I do love MegaMan and i've noticed that 4/6 of the NES games have intro cutscenes. How common was this? Was MegaMan just ahead of its time?
I hate to defend Disney but goddamn give the movie a chance! People complain about Disney not making original movies but when they do they hate on them without even watching them! It's the same shit every time. If the movie is good but does poorly people are gonna blame disney for "not marketing it enough." If the movie sucks and does poorly people are gonna be trashing it for years and using it as proof that "animation is dead." If the movie sucks and does well people are gonna use it as proof that "Disney doesn't have to try anymore." And if the movie does well and it's good people will say nothing! Because they don't want good movies, they want to complain. Notice how most animation "critics" only talk positively about something if it's to shit on something else. (And they claim to be animation fans while only talking about mainstream animated movies!) And another thing, why do people keep bring up The Owl House? I loved that show (if you scroll back in my profile far enough you'll find old fanart and theories I did) but it's not the only piece of media ever made that's about witches! Also the Disney's shows are made by a completely different department from their movies, so the idea that this movie is a ripoff of The Owl House is extremely unlikely. That take just reeks of dumbass teenagers who have no idea how animation production works. I mean it's not like the CEOs are the ones making the movies! They just hire the people that make the movies! Companies aren't just one hivemind. There's a good chance the executive that shortened The Owl House and the executive that greenlighted Hexed have never even met!
TLDR:People need to actually watch things before forming opinions on them!
