Should i wait this out or go to the hospital?
have an ovarian cyst on my right side that as of 5/8 measures at 5.0x4.5x3.5 cm. We've been observing it with transvaginal ultrasounds since october of last year and it has stayed the same size. Earlier today when i was using the bathroom, i had a really sharp pain in my right lower abdomen and the area also hurt when i touched it and when i bent over to grab something. The pain lasted for maybe 10-15 minutes and then it became a dull ache and then went away. It came back momentarily about a half hour after but quickly went away. I've had a strange, almost heavy feeling in that area most of the day and just recently I've noticed my left shoulder hurts.
I did go to my gynecologists office earlier (i had to give my sistera ride to an appointment in that department) and tried to talk to someone, but they took my birthday, said they'd see if a nurse was available, and then after i sat down they didn't acknowledge me the whole time i was waiting on my sister to finish with her appointment, and she was in a hurry when she was done so we left.
I am not feeling weak or dizzy, its just the weird heavy feeling, a random sharp pain every now and again, and my shoulder is throbing a little now. Its after office ours at my gynecologists so i can't contact them until tomorrow morning
Is this something serious or can i wait it out till tomorrow?
