My dream girl and I dated for only about 5 months, everything was going amazing until she started fizzling out and broke up with me. That was a little over a year ago. Went no contact for a long time. Eventually we started talking again, we have a lot of overlapping social circles so when we'd see each other she was very flirty and touchy. I let that ride and eventually brought up being in a relationship again, and she shot me down completely. Devastation. A few months went by, and I explained to her that I'm still head over heels for her, and that basically either I'll eventually lose interest or she'll come back around; she said it's not really about that and it's more that we're at too different of stages in our lives. That was as much closure as I really got as to why she saw us as incompatible. After making that very clear that I'm still into her, a couple weeks ago she came to one of my shows (musician). She was all up in my grill, telling me how sexy I am playing guitar on stage, touching me, grabbing my hands, leaning her head into my chest. It has been quite a while since we've really seen each other so once again I stupidly think she's back in it; I tell her a few days later to come and check out my new house and she shoots me down completely again. She's saying that she's sorry for crossing boundaries but that we have a connection so she feels comfortable around me, likes hanging out with me etc., but the actions she's making are so overt that I don't know how else to internalize it. I don't have a lot else going on in the romantic world so she's kind of all i think about. What the hell is she trying to convey?
