I’ve (22F) been on Sertraline for 8 years. The dosage obvs started lower but I’ve been on 150mg since around November 2023. I am considering talking to the doctor about coming off of them.

I’ll be honest, my anxiety is controlling my life and making it hard to go out, and side effects of the sertraline (or at least I think are side effects) make that worse - I become paranoid about how sweaty I am, I feel very sick and very quickly overwhelmed in public and majority of the time, feel like I could faint.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem with them, I didn’t think they were particularly helpful but never something I would think would be at the cause of an issue. The last month or maybe more, I’ve felt extremely nauseous all the time. I’ve had a few distressing external circumstances which I put it down to but it’s been so long now and I am feeling sick of the sickness. Has anyone started feeling side effects so deep into this medication? Is it likely that this is the cause?

TIA <333
