I got into Cyberpunk Red after playing Cyberpunk 2077, like I'm sure many others did. When the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit was announced I was excited to play with all the guns and equipment from the 2070s era. However, I was a little disappointed when I got to the section on the weapons and they just felt a little underwhelming and difficult to implement. I also didn’t love how generic the standard guns in Red felt. I decided to put together a list of unique guns to have players purchase from instead using some of the rules from Interface 5, alongside a homebrew burst fire system I came up with (described later in the post). I wanted every gun to feel unique and to add the feeling that you had to purchase from corps, so every weapon has a manufacturer attached to it as well.

Burst Fire
Some weapons are listed with the firing property Burst Fire (x). When firing a weapon with this property, one can choose to utilize burst fire, expending a total number of bullets equal to the weapons burst fire rating (x). On a successful shot, add that number to the damage roll as a flat value. When firing burst fire use the standard range table and weapon skill associated with that weapon.
