Watching The Boys season 5 has got me like
Early days, much more than just goals, Prime Ronaldo really had everything, so glad the greatest player of all time gave a decade of his absolute prime to the greatest club of all time.
Never seen a more Real Madrid coded player ever, embodiment of Real Madrid in human form, hardworking, prideful, glorious, electrifying.
He really left the best club in the world at the time (prime manchester) with the best manager in the world (sir alex ferguson) to come to a fallen madrid side and rebuild it back to where it belonged, not merely former glory but heights it had never witnessed before.
Now everyone claims Real Madrid is their dream club, it's easy to want to say that, when it's usually always the reigning champions league winner more often than not, but back then? Who would leave a prime manchester united which won UCL the last year, and went to finals again this year, won the premiere league back to back thrice in a row, to move to a Real Madrid side that failed to qualify past ko rounds of champions league for nearly a decade, and a broken real Madrid which was facing Prime Barcelona at the peak of their powers? No sane star player would, but he did, just because this was truly his favourite club since childhood.
Used to feel Invincible when he was playing for us, no matter what, he'd pull something out lol, like we had a nuclear option available at all times which other teams didn't.
