Are there any journalists or media professionals here, especially from Indian national media, who can share some insight?

Recently, many national media outlets have hosted political conclaves in Tamil Nadu. At these events, they invited representatives from parties like DMK, AIADMK, BJP, Congress, MNM (which has a relatively small vote share), and TVK (whose electoral strength is still unclear). However, Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) was not included.

I’m curious about the reasoning behind this. Is it based on vote share, media visibility, editorial bias, or some other criteria?

Would appreciate an informed perspective on how these decisions are made.
