Professional Paint Job or Not?
Hey Reddit Squad,
I wanted to get some opinions on these doors being professionally painted and as surprise the last picture has one of my dogs in it!
Background: These are less than a year old smooth fiberglass doors.
They were previously painted a year ago by my door installer but he didn’t do great so a “pro” came in, sanded them to remove the installer’s poor paint job, and sprayed them. Well the “pro” thought 80 grit sanding paper was the right choice and it left pigtail marks everywhere.
I waited a year and had a new professional company come out today to sand them properly and repaint them with a different color and supposedly better paint. They used brushes and rollers.
I’m not a pro nor is my wife but these don’t seem professionally finished. They look inconsistent and they didn’t bother cleaning the paint off the glass around the trim. What do you think?
