I was looking at some historical satellite imagery of the Eastern Shore of Sri Lanka on Google Earth and noticed something really disturbing.

Between 2011 and 2024, there is a clear timeline showing that a specific 5-star hotel in Passikuda, seems to have removed a massive section of the coral reef directly in front of their property - likely to create a "clearer" swimming area for guests.

I’ve attached the screenshots showing the progress:

June 2011: Natural reef structure is clearly visible.
Sept 2011: Initial signs of clearing/disturbance.
Oct 2013 & April 2024: A massive rectangular "hole" where the reef used to be.

This isn't just a small patch; it looks like an industrial-scale excavation of a protected marine ecosystem. It’s frustrating to see our natural resources destroyed for short-term luxury. Would appreciate any advice on how to bring more eyes to this.

This is going to sound so random but I need help finding a specific Facebook reel.

A couple of nights ago my dad called me at midnight sounding really stressed, asking why I was out fighting with a bunch of people at a bus stand. I was completely confused because I haven't been anywhere near a fight, but he's 100% convinced it was me.

Apparently he saw this video on Facebook of a scuffle at a bus stop involving a group of men and women, and the guy in the middle of it looks exactly like me and is even wearing an outfit I have. He lost the reel in his feed before he could show me, and now he lowkey thinks I'm lying about it.

I’ve tried searching but can’t find the specific one he’s talking about. Has anyone seen a clip like this blowing up in the last few days/weeks? If you have the link or know which page posted it please let me know. I just want to show him the full video so he realizes it’s just someone who looks like me.
