Best carrier/wrap options for hot and humid summers?
Hey everyone! FTM here, scheduled for an induction at 37w coming up. Baby will likely be around 6.5-7.5 lbs (based on growth trends, but who knows!) and I'm wondering if anyone has some favorite wraps or carriers that might suite my needs best?
I would be looking for something suitable for a smaller newborn at least to start, room to grow is great but not a deal-breaker if there is something better out there for a bigger baby later on. My biggest concern (maybe it isn't actually a huge deal, but I'm not sure) is that baby will be here in peak hot weather season. I am in the southeast USA, May-August are easily 80-100 degrees daily with lots of humidity. I would think something with a thinner, more breathable material would be a good idea? I just don't know where to start since there are so many brands to investigate! I also see a lot of pictures on brand websites of obviously bigger babies in the carriers but don't know exactly what a newborn baby, or a baby just a couple of months old, should look or feel like in a wrap.
