Letting my Z4M go, but thank you to this community!
I posted about whether the Z4M roadster was ultimately the right car for me a week or two ago. I wanted to say thank you for all the opinions and advice about how to approach the car.
And what I learned about the Z4M is that it does drive extremely well. It's a special car. And it also taught me about what I'm looking for and not looking for. I need a mid-engine roadster, not a FR. My style of driving simply isn't aggressive enough to extract the "hot chili" factor out of the car. https://youtu.be/0FTcr2IFeg0 to know what I'm talking about.
I'll probably look at doing a listing on BAT or CNB, or otherwise offer the car for a bit of a discount on a FBM or similar pre-listing. It's a 17k mile interlagos blue, no-nav example. I made sure to do the tires, oil, filters, etc. It's always had regular oil, brake, steering and coolant changes.
The prior owner originally installed an aftermarket muffler and AFE intake. I put the stock mufflers back on the car and have a stock intake to install as well. Only issues with the car are some plastic cracking on the rear compartment and some minor headrest wear on the back of the seat. Those plastic pieces can be found on eBay, I don't have any interest in trying to remove and replace them.
Anyway, thank you for all your comments and direction. I really wanted to compliment this community on helping me find good info before I bought one, and certainly while I owned it as well.
