Weird issue with Monitor randomly going black for a second a lot
So first of, I have two Monitors. This issue is mainly concerning my second monitor, but my main monitor started doing it too, when I turned off the other one.
I've recently installed a new CPU, after this I've started to encounter a weird issue. My monitor randomly keeps blacking out. It seems to be triggered by some weird stuff. For example just hovering over stuff on the Steam controller page in the steam app causes this to happen rapidly. The weird thing is that it doesn't happen when other more demanding stuff, like games are happening. Even weirder is, that having a game opened in the background seems to "negate" the effect that hovering on the steam page has.
I'm genuinly baffled, bc I thought it was a cable issue, but the random software trigger and no change after changing the cable speak against that. Then I thought it might be a weird GPU drivers issue but no change after updating the drivers and also not after reverting.
My next idea was a power issue, but since it doesn't happen under heavy load, this also seems illogical.
If anyone has any experience with something like this, or an idea for the source of the problem I would be very grateful!
