What are the best non-AAA open world games? Looking for hidden gems from smaller studios, not the usual big-budget titles.
Hi, I love exploring, collecting, and finding cool things/areas in open-world games like Death Stranding, RDR2, Elden Ring, Zelda Breath of the Wild, Horizon series, GTA 5, etc...
Now, these games all have amazing graphics and I loved them all. But they are big budget, huge production studio products...
But I'd like to find a game that doesn't have or need the amazing graphics but still offers the thrill and excitement of finding new areas, exploration, items, etc...
Do such games exist?
please note: I don't mean games like Factorio, Stardew valley, rim world, etc...I've played those and loved them but I'm trying to find a game that offers the open-world exploration itch but not as big budget.
Thanks!
