my dad has been talking about getting fish to put in my axolotls tank for a while. I’ve told him it’s a bad idea because of the risk of impacting and the fish nibbling on my axolotls gills. he comes home from work today with a bag of minnows and some aquatic plants. I don’t know what species they are although they look like rosy reds to me, and I don’t have any other tanks besides my axolotls. he didn’t even buy food for the minnows either. should I let them into my axolotls tank? what do I do with them? it would break his heart if I told him I didn’t want them. He got them from petsmart. he hasn’t done any research on what conditions the minnows need and if they are safe for my axolotl. help!!!

I want to learn blender but my current devices aren’t able to run blender smoothly. what’s an affordable laptop that will be able to smoothly run things on blender?

• How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? I would prefer a longer battery life but I do care about performance.
• How important is weight and thinness to you? weight and thinness don’t matter that much to me.

• Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. I desire to run Blender, Unity, and Unreal engine but my main priority is Blender.
• If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? I may want to play Minecraft. 24 fps is fine for me.
• Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? have lots of ports for a drawing tablet, extra RAM stick, and mouse
• Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. It needs to be able to run advanced graphics from blender. I’m looking for around 16 GB of RAM minimum.
