Help needed please battery went flat now won’t start.
Hi all is it possible anybody could share some context on this, so my partners father went into hospital and the jeep has been parked up since October. We need to get this out of the garage and storage and today we attempted to get this started. At first no power so I have connected my car via jump leads in which we had power the ignition would then turn and the lights came on and due gauges moved.
The only issue is the car won’t actually turnover and the jeep fob that states lock and unlock in the image does not do anything. So we had to unlock the car with the key. I have changed the battery’s in this also and replaced with new ones but it still won’t work. There is also a small black fob (image 4) but I am not sure what this is? Is this needed or is there anything I need to do with this to get it started?
We attempt to start the car so it has power, lights come on and the gauges go up but the car won’t start and the red immobiliser light is still flashing? Do we think the fob potentially needs re programming or is there something I am doing wrong? Any advice or help would be much appreciated.
