Currently running a 5060ti 16gb with a ryzen 5 7600x and 32 gigs of ddr5, and I bought this pc right before the ramageddon. However, even then I had to cheap out on the monitor, snagging the cheapest 1440p monitor i could find, which happened to be a redmi, and it was ips 100hz 32" (Idk the model exactly).
And its absolutely horrendous. The colors are bad, the viewing angles are horrible, and its design is thick and clunky. I've been managing for the past year, but I've nearly finished one of my most major exams and want to completely knock myself out with games afterwards.
As such, I've decided on getting a new better monitor. Now i play 0 competitive games and care only about visuals for story games, so with my 5 minutes of research I've found that I should go for a VA panel if I plan on going on a budget. So I cant decide if I should cheap out for a decent VA panel so I can upgrade my pc case and aio, or go all in for the monitor and get a miniled panel like some people are saying online.
I've also seen this new "affordable oled" come out for like 350 usd? The aw2726dm? I highly doubt its going to be the same price when it comes to my third world country where prices are astronomically inflated due to import tax (bangladesh) but if I can somehow find one in that price range, Im snagging it immediately. So lets assume I can go up to 350 usd if need be, but if the overall consensus is I cheap out, then Id prefer to have it sub 250 usd.
Tldr; cant decide on whether to invest in monitor or not, storymode player looking for best visuals on a budget if possible, preferrably 1440p.
Games: mainly a lot of gacha games like wuthering waves or fromsoftware/soulslike games, and every other story game u can imagine,
(Sorry about the long rant, kind of new to reddit so idk what the local manners are)
