Got blocked for taking too long to respond?
Hi everyone! I'd like to know if this is a normal occurrence with buyers.
Most interactions I have are fortunately very amicable, and I try to reply as soon as is feasible for me--however, this week was incredibly busy, and it took me a little over 2 days to reply to a buyer's inquiry about bundling a listing.
I usually try to respond in the same day, and I'm not proud of letting it take this long, but it just wasn't feasible for me the past few days to take time to respond + negotiate + set up the desired listing with the same speed I usually try for. Upon trying to send the message to the buyer earlier today, I got the pop-up that the user had restricted interaction with me. This was our only point of interaction.
I have the stipulation in my bio of "I try to ship/respond ASAP, but please keep in mind my life can get quite busy! Let me know if you have questions :)", which I assume they *must* have read for them to go to the trouble of blocking me---but am curious if this has happened to others before? Should I change the bio to be more specific about response times? Or was this just a bad apple?
