Published Book One!

Published Book One!

I published my first book in February, and somehow managed to actually sell more than the 10 I'd expected. (What a thrill! Terrifying!)

I didn't want to post it with my homemade cover. Now that it has a professional cover, here it is! My character-driven, seafaring fantasy!

Blurb:

She never imagined that one act of kindness would destroy her life.

Iyara doesn't look like the elves of the Sundral Plains. None of them have horns.

While her sister grows up in sunlight and freedom, Iyara is kept hidden, warned that the world beyond their home is dangerous for her.

When she saves a man wounded in the woods, her act of kindness is repaid in violence.

Orphaned and on the run, the sisters are sold to the captain of a smuggling ship.

Aboard The Sultry Siren, Iyara discovers a place that is uneasy but safe. Even with untamed magic. But safety is fragile, and one mistake could tear her from the home she's just begun to call her own.

(Tagged as self-promo bc Idk if February is "just published" enough)
