Hey everyone, new homeowner here! I’m currently in the process of trying to get my lawn in check and could use some expertise.

I’m located in Texas with a Bermuda lawn. I’ve been able to ID and tackle most of the common weeds, but this one has me stumped. It looks very similar to grass, but it grows significantly faster than the Bermuda. If I mow on the weekend, this stuff is already several inches taller than the rest of the turf by Tuesday.

It grows very upright and bright green. Is this just a different type of grass, or a specific weed?
