I(F) was married, went through multiple rounds of fertility treatment due to severe MFI, did not receive any support from spouse. The marriage was filled with severe loneliness, and multiple bouts of cheating by him. I left when I found out everything. We never had children. I still sob silently for the life I dreamt of, but I’m hopeful that life will sort itself out and so glad I never had kids with him. I’m happier now and less stifled with insensitive comments on Mother’s Day (mostly because I’ve grown a backbone and learned to cuss people out).
