First Welcome to Rockville
This was my first time ever going to a rock festival. I always have listened to older bands (90s-early 2000s). My girlfriend bought the wristbands and just told me we were going to- I really had never listened to any of these bands besides godsmack, foo fighters, the offspring, and a couple others. Man, was I pleasantly surprised. First of all, everyone I came in contact with was amazing, I got to hit some pits, and had hand in sending over 100s of people crowd surfing. I got a sprayer and when I wasn’t lifting or pitting, I was taking care of everyone around me, the vibes were awesome.
Now onto the music, so many bands just blew me away. We camped a couple hours for Bring Me The Horizon (this is my girlfriend’s favorite band) and got really close. I couldn’t believe what I heard and saw. The banana man was the cherry on top. This was my favorite show of the weekend.
The bands that shocked me the most - A Day To Remember, The Plot in You, Motionless in White, Sleeping With Sirens, and Architects.
I know a lot of people probably don’t care to hear or read this, but I just thought I’d give my 2 cents. Anyone else got any bands that absolutely shocked them?
