true academic lower bounds for rescission?

reddit is full of people who present different takes of the form "don't get [] grades to avoid getting rescinded", but this doesn't say anything meaningful about what actually happens if you get [] grades, merely that getting higher than [] grades is safe. obviously, this isn't the fault of the poster: it's tough to claim [] grades are genuinely unsafe without a sample of someone legitimately getting rescinded for their grades. however, this leaves someone actually achieving [] grades or lower fully confused as to what their odds look like.

to rectify this, i come to the internet to beg for examples. does anyone actually know people that were rescinded for their grades and with what grades were they rescinded? furthermore, how low have you guys seen people's grades go without getting rescinded? specifically for t5/10 privates (HYPSM + upenn, brown, caltech, uchicago, etc), i understand the situation for publics is way worse.
