I’ve had this thinkpad for about 3 years and it has been a great workhorse, with no issues at all. However, overnight it suddenly stopped turning on despite no water damage or anything as it was sitting in my laptop bag the entire time after working just fine.

When plugged into AC (have tried multiple chargers), the charging LED went from orange to white, indicating that it is now fully charged. However, the laptop does not power on at all (no fan or anything). Every time the charger is plugged in, the power LED flashes for a moment and then turns off with nothing else happening.

I have tried draining the power and using the reset pin, however neither strategy has worked.

Any suggestions or am I out of luck here?
