How’d I do? ‘02 First Gen
Scheduled to pick up this ‘02 Sequoia SR5 tomorrow in New Jersey for $5,500. It has 180,000 miles on it and had its entire frame replaced by Toyota back in 2011.
Couple other notes from the seller are:
- It has a flow, master muffler, and a 3 inch stainless steel exhaust and cold air intake.
- All four calipers ball joints recently replaced, control, arm rear differential.
- Entire set of new stainless steel brake lines and hoses ready for installation.
- All work done at Toyota
The interior is in mint condition for a 24 year old truck, and the final row of seats are still in their original wrapping. Seller also says the engine is in “impeccable” condition. I have videos but couldn’t figure out how to add them here, but my mechanic friends have given it their stamp of approval.
Based on the foregoing, it appears the only work that needs to be done is the timing belt etc and new brake lines.
Is this a good deal for NY/NJ? And how many more miles does this thing have in with the proper maintenance?
