Bumble App Experience

33F, decent looking, work in tech in the US (Atlanta/GA), and Bumble used to work GREAT for me for years. I’d get consistent quality matches, good conversations, dates, etc.

But this year, it feels like the app completely died for me. Barely getting matches now, and the few I do get are much lower effort than before. My profile/photos honestly haven’t changed drastically.

Did Bumble change their algorithm or something?

I keep hearing people talk about:
- visibility throttling
- pay-to-play mechanics
- new user boosts disappearing faster
- “Standouts” affecting regular profile exposure
- apps optimizing for engagement instead of actual matching

Or is this just what dating apps are like now once you’re in your 30s?

Curious if other women around my age are experiencing the same thing too, especially in bigger cities / tech hubs like Atlanta, NYC, SF, Seattle, etc.
