Need 2 Videographers for Saturday (5/16) at AutoZone Park (for the fireworks portion)

This is a LMRA (Last Minute Request Alert)!

We made the eclipse glasses for the Artemis II crew and now we are looking to do something for this 4th of July. So we need some shots pretty quickly.

The event to shoot at would be the Redbirds game May 16th (specifically the fireworks show they have at the end). Yes, this is last minute.

Quick Overview:

I am looking to commission someone (probably a two-person crew) to capture POV footage of our specialized 3D fireworks glasses in action. These lenses utilize a unique holographic effect that renders "USA" and "250" images at every point of light. Our primary objective is to obtain crisp, high-quality raw footage of this effect through the camera lens. While on-site, we would want to also capture some POV footage using our standard diffraction lenses. We don’t need a ton of content if we can get a good a couple of good shots for each- which would be 3 kinds of glasses. 1) diffraction/rainbow 2) USA holograms and 3) 250 Holograms. The Redbirds game is the only thing I know that has a good size fireworks show coming up. But yes, it's for this Saturday night.

We will provide all the glasses and the specific film for your camera lenses to ensure the visual effect translates accurately on screen (this would be easier than trying to manipulate some glasses to fit on your camera). I would get that to you ASAP in case there are any issues. No post-production or editing is necessary; just the high-resolution video.

If this seems like something you can accommodate on short notice, please let me know.

Group/Agency/Human who can handle orchestrating a UGC campaign

Quick question for the growth and influencer experts here. My company is the world’s largest manufacturer of 3D optics (we produced hundreds of millions of glasses for the recent US eclipses). We've had some collaborations with science folk (Bill Nye, etc), but nothing big. That said, this is relatively new territory, so please handle me with care.

We’ve just launched an invovative (but simple) 3D glasses product for the 4th of July (America250 celebration). These are basically 3D fireworks glasses that project 'USA' and '250' holograms on to every point of light. It’s an incredibly visual product. We want to launch a targeted UGC campaign for the 4th of July.

Can anyone recommend an agency (or individual) that specializes in orchestrating UGC campaigns? I am specifically looking for a partner to handle the influencer outreach, logistics, and content management so we don't have to manage it manually. We have the product ready, but we need someone to help us scale this quickly across the US.

Looking for a group who can orchestrate a UGC campaign for a big event in the US

Thoughts on influencer marketing for a $2 novelty item (that rules)!

Hey!

I’m the CMO at the world’s largest 3D optics + eclipse glasses manufacturer (to give you an idea we moved 75M+ eclipse glasses in 2024). We also just supplied the Artemis II crew with their eclipse glasses a few weeks ago. Anyway, we’re pivoting that high-volume infrastructure toward the America250 celebration with a licensed "American Eyes" 3D Fireworks Glasses product. These 3D glasses transform all fireworks into these amazing "USA and 250" floating holograms. It’s low-cost, high-margin, and incredibly "TikTok-able." This 3D technology takes backyard shows and city-wide celebrations and blasts them into a fully immersive experience that rules.

Since the "wow factor" is entirely through the lens, we’re looking at influencer marketing to drive the visual hook. I’m still trying to decide if influencer marketing is a "must-have" or just "nice-to-have" for a product this cheap. I’m curious to get this group's take on two things:

Micro vs. Macro: For a low-cost, high-impact novelty, is it better to go for a "shock and awe" campaign with a couple of major lifestyle influencers, or a carpet-bombing approach with a bunch of micro-influencers to dominate the UGC space? Big influencers give us the "official" feel, but micro-influencers feel more authentic for a "hey look at this sweet thing I found" vibe. What’s the play?

Agency Recommendations: Does anyone have experience with agencies that specialize in high-volume, seasonal "impulse" products? I’m thinking of a “scrappy” agency who can handle the influence side while we handle the large fulfillment/manufacturing?

Like eclipse glasses, these are also paper glasses. We know it’s a novelty, but with the official license and our manufacturing scale, we’re looking to treat this as a serious GTM play. Is influencer spend even the right lever here, or would you lean harder into PR/Event activations? Does the "Official License" actually moves the needle for influencers, or should we just lead with the visual effect?

Or is the country in the toilet and anything celebrating us won't feel like a happy moment to all come together. I thank you in advance and love you all dearly.

Is influencer spend a trap for $2 impulse novelties? (America250 GTM)

Seeking advice on scaling a US-based public safety campaign for the 2026/2027 Eclipses

I know this question will be a bit boring, but maybe there is someone out there who can speak to this. If so, I will send you some sort of mystery prize. Anyway, I’m the CMO for the largest eclipse glasses manufacturer in the world. We handled the bulk of the 2017 and 2024 eclipse media cycle here in the States, but I’m feeling the US disconnect (I believe that's a real term) for the next big ones in August 2026 (Spain/Iceland) and 2027 (Egypt/Saudi Arabia/Spain).

We need to start conversations now about a major PR push focused on eclipse safety and eye protection. The core idea is a public safety play—ensuring people have our ISO-compliant protection—but we want to avoid the 'loud Made in American Brand' trope. Because this is a health/safety issue, we can’t just translate US press releases and call it a day—we need local media buy-in. It's a lot to think about.

For those of you who have managed international campaigns:

  1. Would you look for one agency with a global footprint, or go for local experts in each path-of-totality country?
  2. Are there any specific PR networks or 'matchmaking' services you trust for finding international firms that specialize in public interest/safety?
  3. Any red flags I should look for when a foreign firm says they can definitely handle US-based clients?

My preference is for one group to ensure our safety messaging remains consistent across the EU and MENA markets. Is it standard practice in international PR to hire a global group that handles the local execution through their own affiliates, or is that overkill for a project-based event? I honestly have no idea.

I appreciate any insight on this otherwise boring topic. If anyone has any recomendations, that's even better. I love you all!
