I’m in a mommy group on Facebook and this was just anonymously posted by another mom. I NEVER want to experience this - I want to be there for my daughter as much as she needs me. My girly is very high needs but she is still a baby at 2 so of course she is. Having a second would not allow me to meet her needs at all. I assume many littles experience this sudden drop in their needs being fulfilled by their parents when they add new children. Here’s part of the post. I had to paste it into notes and screenshot because I couldn’t paste the text itself into Reddit.

This poor baby😭 this just is another nudge for me that indicates being OAD is the right decision for us.
