Hey everyone,

I've been holding off on MSFS 2024 since launch because of the rough early reports, but with SU5 dropping and the optimization work that came with it. I'm seriously considering the migration now

Before I pull the trigger, I'd like a sanity check from people who've actually made the jump on a similar setup

My setup:

- CPU: Intel i7-11700K
- GPU: RTX 3080 Ti
- RAM: 32GB DDR4-3600 CL19 (Gear 1)

My typical workload on MSFS 2020 right now:

- Fenix A320, iniBuilds A350, PMDG 737 and PMDG 777
- GSX Pro, Active Sky, REX Atmos/Accuseason
- Demanding scenery
- AutoFPS + Lossless Scaling x3 frame gen
- Currently locked to 40 FPS via NVIDIA Control Panel with Ultra Low Latency mode enabled, using TAA and 16x anisotropic filtering, which allows me to run at 120 FPS with Lossless Scaling

On MSFS 2020 I get a smooth, consistent experience after a lot of fine-tuning (Process Lasso, Park Control, BIOS tuning)

More generally, based on current MSFS 2024 SU5 performance, is my setup realistically capable of delivering a mostly smooth 120 FPS experience either locked at 40 FPS with Lossless Scaling x3, or capped at 60 FPS with native frame generation x2 (FSR 3 FG) without noticeable stutters in typical use, including heavier airports and airliners, like I can currently do on MSFS 2020?

Not looking for cheerleading either way just real-world feedback from people on comparable hardware, or from anyone who can honestly answer based on actual MSFS 2024 experience

Thanks!
