I'm just starting to research what I think I need for my use case. I have a fairly short list of wishes but I thought this was the best place to come to challenge that list and see any other suggestions emerge.
My use case. I'll be travelling for work which will involve 1 overnight stay on a campsite site per week. Stay will be in Scotland and will involve a 100 mile journey each way.
What I 'think' I want
Pop top
Diesel heater
Rock n roll bed
Automatic gearbox
Additionally id want to tow a caravan (for pleasure on weekends) so towing capacity of 1500 would be a must too. From my pottered research it seems that wouldn't be an issue for a transporter.
My budget would be in the 30k range so would be looking for 70k+ milage
Based on my use case of staying for one night all year round and driving a decent distance per trip what's your view on my list to look for. I'm keeping my eyes on auto trader but have time on my side a little and won't be looking to pull any triggers for a few months yet so trying to get my wish list sorted.
