Hi everyone.

I have a Lenovo ThinkBook that wasn’t turned on for about 7 months. Before that period, it was working completely fine.

Now it doesn’t work. When I plug in the charger, the charging indicators light up and it shows that the battery is charged (the indicator is white). However, when I press the power button, absolutely nothing happens.

I also noticed that if I hold the power button for about 30 seconds while the charger is connected, the laptop seems to power off and then turn back on again.

I read online that after a long period of inactivity, a laptop may need to stay plugged in for about 24 hours for the battery to “wake up,” but that didn’t help in my case.

Has anyone had a similar problem or knows what could be causing this?
