You think everyone is watching and judging you.
They’re not. They’re busy with their own lives.
The pressure you feel is mostly self-created.
Once you see that, you move a lot more freely.

Read this quote and wanted to share with people here.
We all go through situations where everything seems to be going against us...
You keep waiting to feel “sure” before starting.
That moment rarely comes.
Things only start making sense after you take the first step.
Clarity isn’t found , it’s built while moving.
This quote of Confucius hits at heart. What do you think ?
I’ve been thinking about this lately.
A lot of the hobbies I’ve picked up over time have mostly been solo things — reading, spending time on my own projects, just going out alone sometimes. I enjoy them, but they don’t really put me around new people.
At the same time, I keep hearing that hobbies are one of the best ways to meet people more naturally, instead of forcing it through apps or random social settings.
But in my experience, it hasn’t really worked that way so far.
Either I stick to things I already like (which are mostly individual), or when I try something more social, it feels a bit unnatural and I don’t stick with it long enough.
So I’m curious how this actually plays out for others.
Have any of your hobbies genuinely helped you meet new people or even led to a relationship? And if yes, was it something that just happened over time, or did you have to be more intentional about it?
Would be interesting to hear real experiences around this.
