I was wondering if there was a way to redistribute the numbers on the monitors given when the "identify" button is pressed in System -> Display.

change 1 to 2 and 2 to one

all guides thus far have been either unplugging my monitors, shutting down, then replugging back in the monitor i want as 1. Or deleting hidden monitor devices in the Device Manager or deleting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration

and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Connectivity and restarting.

i have a VG248 connected via DVI that i want to be display 1

i have a lg full hd monitor that i want to be display 2, but it is display 1

i have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 as the gpu

i have Windows 10 pro version 22H2
