Summer financial aid
I’m enrolled for Summer 2026 and my Student Center shows anticipated financial aid that exceeds my balance due, but CCE told me summer aid does not defer fees and students can still get dropped before aid disburses.
I’m currently on SAP appeal/probation status and waiting for spring grades to finalize. My account currently shows anticipated summer aid and an expected refund if everything processes correctly.
Has anyone at Sac State dealt with this before? Were you actually dropped even with anticipated aid showing? Did Financial Aid or CCE give any hardship exceptions, temporary deferments, or manual protection from being dropped?
Also, if anyone has experience with SAP probation and summer aid, did your aid still go through after spring grades posted?
