For sale is a Tibaldi Bononia Vintage Mer du Nord. That is a very fancy name for a vintage style pen from about 2020 that is made of lovely blue flecked resin reminiscent of the sea. This series was 3 colors of about 80 to 100 (actual number was unclear) pens each and this was my favorite. The pen sports one of the nicest looking modern nibs in 18K in a generous BB width. The pen is a piston filler and one of the nice touches is the threads are right by the nib meaning no threads on your fingers. The pen is brand new with the box and is uninked or dipped so I am rating it as A1. (The box has a water spot in the very outside thin sleeve and the box says OM but the nib is BB.) I am asking $360.

A flock of larger Pelikans for sale - M1000, M900 and several M800s.

1. M1000 - SOLD Black model with the ink window. Comes with an 18K EF nib. (Note Pelikan M1000 nibs are soft and wet so this will write closer to an F or M than a typical EF, but this is as thin as it gets.) This is an older model and comes with a gift box and papers. Pen is lightly used so I will rate it B to be conservative, but it looks very nice other than some microscratches in typical places like where the cap rubs the barrel. I am asking $625.
2. M900 - An early 1990s Toledo in new condition with all the box and papers. The pen comes with an 18C M nib. In my opinion the engraving quality on these older pens (when production volume was much lower) is significantly better than later versions and those you can order today. This pen is in A2 condition and I don't recall it even being dipped. I'm asking $1400.

The next 3 pens are older M800 pens. I have 3 nibs on offer - 2 B and 1 M. Buyers will get to choose which one to pair with the pen they buy. First buyer gets first pick.

3. M800 Green Demo original version from 1992. The pen has some subtle differences from the re-release in 2023. the pen has been inked a few times in the last 30+ years and some ink has snuck into places you can only see because the pen is a demonstrator - there is no impact on function. Overall the pen is in great shape and I will rate it a B. If you want I can include a gift box with the pen as  I no longer have the original box. I am asking $500.

4. M800 Green stripes transparent barrel with W. GERMANY cap band and metal medallions on both ends. This pen is showing a little plating loss on the collar by the nib. The trim is also more of a yellow gold than the other green stripe M800. I will rate this pen a B- for the plating loss, but overall it is in nice condition. I am asking $400.

5. M800 Green stripes transparent barrel with GERMANY on the cap band and a printed cap top. This pen is probably late 1990s as is has a printed cap top instead of the earlier metal disc, but it has the metal disc on the piston knob. Overall this pen is in good condition and no significant wear and tear. The trim is a bit more pale gold than the other green stripe M800 and I didn't see any plating loss. I rate the pen as at lest a B. I am asking $425.

M800 early 1990s Black pen cap and body - NO NIB. This has a lot of plating loss on the trim, including the clip, a spot on the cap band, almost all the the plating on the section, and some on the piston knob disc. The pen still functions well, but I am selling it as more of a parts pen for those who maybe have a spare nib and want a pen they can use on the road without worry. I will rate the pen a D due to cosmetic issues. I am asking $100.

I have a leather Pelikan 1 pen case is used, but very good condition. These are $80 new but I will offer it for $40 if anyone wants to add it on to a pen purchase or $55 without a pen.

Finally, I have a rare Pelikan pen store display tray. It is sturdy plastic with flocking. It holds pens up to the M800 size (as seen in the verification photo). I will offer it for $75 for anyone who wants to add it to a pen purchase or $100 without a pen.

For sale is a Montblanc John Lennon limited edition of 1940 from 2010. Made of 925 sterling silver overlaid with white guiloche in an intricate pattern, the pen carries a strong guitar theme with the intricate clip as the bridge, an tanzanite stone by the tuners, and a representative doodle portrait split between the cap and the barrel on the sound hole. (Note the cap is threaded such that the two halves always align properly.) The pen is also engraved with the publication date of his hit song Imagine on the piston knob. The nib is an 18K M nib with a very nice frosted and shiny rhodium plating and has an embossed peace symbol.

The pen is in A2 condition and still has the plastic wrap on the section. There are some signs of tarnish on some of the silver parts from storage. The box however is starting to shed its flocked lining. The cardboard is still in good shape, but the internal liner is coming off. This is just the nature of the materials MB chose - they degrade over time even as the box sits untouched in storage. I included a photo of the issue. The warranty book and commemorative record are included.

I am asking $2800 for this pen.

On offer is a rare limited edition oversize demonstrator button filler from the original iteration of the Delta pen company. The pen is very substantial and definitely considered oversize in thickness. The pen sports a rare size 8 14K STUB nib with full rhodium plating on top of an ebonite feed. The pen has the full box and papers (big and hefty) and a small bottle of ink. I can't recall if the ink was used so let's say it has been to be conservative. The pen is used but not abused. As with many demonstrators, ink gets the same places internally as with all pens but you can see the ink in a demo. If you will find this irksome this is not the pen for you! The pen is also showing some typical signs of internal crazing an I tired to capture it in a photo. This does not affect the functionality nor can you see them looking at the pen unless you are looking down at an angle as in the pic. They cannot be felt, but I want to be as transparent about condition as the pen is to ink.  I just verified the sac still works and takes up ink, but be aware all pens with sacs will eventually need to have them replaced. The trim is silver and probably has little spots of tarnish if you look closely. I will rate the pen a C+ just to be conservative, but it looks very nice in the hand for those that like demos. 

The pen is a LE of 25 and this is number 1/25. If you always wanted to be #1 here is your chance. (And "i  also have an Omas Paragon that is a #1/100 so two chances!)

Four beautiful real celluloid Italian pens for sale today. From left to right in the verification group shot:

1. EE Ercolessi 75th Anniversary LE made by OMAS - This pen was made for an old, famous pen shop in Milan in an exclusive green marbled celluloid. The pen is an edition of 1921 for the year of their founding. The pen has amazing vintage charm in my opinion - from the engraving to the knurling on both ends to the Duofold-style clip. One fact I appreciate about this piston filler is the threads being at the start of the section offering more options for gripping the pen without having to feel the threads. The pen has an 18K B nib with some softness and comes with the full large and  heavy kit. I rate the pen in B condition to be conservative as it was inked maybe one or twice many years ago. It has not been used since which is why I can let it go. I am asking $650.
2. Stipula Etruria Volterra LE of 193 - SOLD This pen is made of the delightful celluloids made famous by the second iteration of the Tibaldi company in the mid 1990s. Once they went out of business their celluloid rods were used by other pen makers including Stipula (who I think was the OEM manufacturer of Tibaldi pens). This is called Rosso Verde officially but some call it tomato soup for the delightful red color and green accents. This pen is a C/C model and is a very substantial pen. The nib is a very rare 18K 52 degree nib - a nib that was meant to be used a the "ideal writing angle" of 52 degrees. In practice it is a curved surface that offers a lot of tipping (ideal for a possible grind) for a smooth writing experience. The pen comes with boxes and papers but the string connecting the top and bottom halves is broken. I rate the pen in B condition as it has been used. I am asking $650.
3. Stipula Etruria LE of 8 - This pen was made for Pen Venture as a store exclusive. It is made out of the rare Tibaldi Havana Brown (aka Champagne) celluloid and has a 14K 0.9 stub nib. I think this celluloid is stunning in person and comparable in beauty to the more famous Impero. This substantial pen is a piston filler and has been used once. The pen comes with box and papers. I rate it B+ condition. I am asking $800.
4. Montegrappa Miya - This pen has amazing turquoise celluloid and sterling silver trim. The pen is a C/C filler and has and 18K M nib and ebonite feed. The pen comes alone and has been used lightly. I rate the pen as a B- for a few stubborn tarnish spots on the trim. This is a great pen for those who want the Montegrappa style but not the Extra 1930 prices. I am asking $400.
