Mazda 2012 3s 2.5L went in for routine oil change and was given a > $6k recommendation list, used to suggested items now called failed.

I have looked up in valve cover seal replacement and harness remove on YT, found mentioned two other styles but not this particular one. Can someone help me and explain how to remove these cable harness other than cutting them out? TIA
