GBP edits frozen since mid-March, Appeals Tool says "no content to appeal," Twitter support team gone silent — need escalation
Hi all, long-time lurker, first-time poster. Hoping someone here has seen this before because I'm 59 days into a frozen profile and running out of options.
Running a small guesthouse in Dharamshala (Bhagsu Nag area, Himachal Pradesh, India) — peak tourist season right now and I'm watching customers find me on Google with 6-week-old phone
number and photos. Real revenue lost daily.
**The issue:**
Verified GBP. Every edit (name, phone, photos, description, review replies) has been stuck on "Google is checking your info — up to 5 days" since 2026-03-12. **53 days now. Never
publishes.**
**What's NOT broken:**
- Profile is verified ✓
- Not suspended ✓
- 1,700+ views/month, customer reviews still arriving normally ✓
- Performance dashboard works ✓
**The killer diagnostic:**
The official Google Business Profile **Appeals Tool returns:**
> "No content to appeal in this tool. The Business Profile selected has no content to appeal in this tool."
So Google's own moderation system confirms NO policy violation, NO suspension, NO rejected media. It's a stuck publication-flag, not content moderation.
**What I've already tried:**
- 3 Contact Us cases: `5-0993000041438`, `4-9138000041782`, `0-1315000040424` — all returned identical templates: *"Based on the info you shared, we're not sure of the exact issue, but here
are solutions to the most common issues..."*
- 2 community threads (one auto-merged into a locked unrelated FAQ — the second one is alive: https://support.google.com/business/thread/428608121)
- Survey feedback (no follow-up)
- Public escalation to GoogleMyBiz on Twitter → they directed me to DM
- DM channel: 3 humans replied (Ann / Dax / Kat) — all sent the SAME template Apr 29 / Apr 30 / May 4. Then "Kat" asked me to fill a satisfaction survey to close the ticket.
- DM has been silent for 6 days since I asked: "(a) confirm escalation routed to engineering, or (b) state explicitly Twitter team has no escalation path."

Has anyone seen this specific failure mode (Appeals Tool says "no content to appeal" + edits never publishing)? Is there an internal escalation path that bypasses the Contact Us / Twitter
loop?
