I’m currently in Abu Dhabi and have been looking for a nursing position for the past 6 months. I registered for the upcoming SSMC (Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City) Recruitment Open Day on 1st and 2nd May 2026.
I only received an auto-generated email after registration, but I haven’t received any further confirmation, time slot, or specific instructions yet.
My questions are:
Has anyone who registered for this SSMC Open Day received a proper confirmation email or time slot?
Is it a pure walk-in event, or is it only for shortlisted candidates?
If I go directly to SSMC on 1st or 2nd May without any further confirmation, will I be allowed to attend the interview?
I would really appreciate any recent experiences or advice from those who have attended similar open days at SSMC or other PureHealth facilities. Especially from nurses who are currently in Abu Dhabi.
Any information regarding document requirements, what to expect on the day, interview process, or whether it’s better to wait for shortlisting would be very helpful.
