My 1 year old English Shepard has been on Nutrena Loyall Life Chicken and Brown Rice for about 7 months now. I opened a new bag for his Tuesday night dinner and Thursday around 3am, he started having diarrhea. ​I withheld his dinner Thursday and then started him back on it (but less of it) and also with some cooked rice for Thursday evening and the next couple days. He seemed to be improving on Saturday but now last night he has been back to frequent diarrhea. Should I think its the food? Should I go get the same brand but the Lamb version? Or switch to a whole new brand which could upset him as well. I plan to call the vet Monday morning. I can't think of any other cause besides the food but that also seems strange to me.
