Bank account without permit yet
Heyy everyone,
I recently moved to Switzerland and I am still waiting for my permit. I need a bank account to pay bills and also for my salary
I’m thinking about opening either a PostFinance or UBS account temporarily until I receive my permit, then later switching to Neon
I mainly want to know:
- How much does PostFinance and UBScost per month?
- Can I cancel the account anytime without penalties? is there minimum contract duration?
- Has anyone opened one of these accounts before receiving their permit?
