I purchased a pot from Amazon for cooking rice in. Recently I noticed color in the center of the rice.

I then noticed that the bolt securing the handle to the lid had some corrosion.

Can someone help identify what material would cause green corrosion like this? It appears to be stainless, but I cannot find any similar cases online.
