I’ve been wanting to find some anime shows to watch that I will actually stick with and finish but have no clue where to begin with since most of the ones I’ve tried just don’t stick.
The anime’s I haven’t enjoyed are the ones where everything boils into a big fight showdown with non stop action but then the character development / story outside of that is weak or overly humorous and goofy. I also don’t love when the anime’s that start turning oddly sexual or weird with the female characters (I know that might be a tough ask lol)
Anime I really liked:
Animatrix - I loved the matrix and each story was fun and uniquely engaging while not being over the top.
Berserk - I really enjoyed the story and how dark this series was, the music was also great.
Cyberpunk edgerunner - I loved the game, and really liked how the show explored a vision of the future where technology and humanity blend in dark ways.
Fire force - I usually get turned off by crazy ass battles all the time in anime but this one was more fun for me and the way their firefighter suits looked was sick
Demon slayer - the animation style was pure eye candy, and I liked the pacing / tone.
I also enjoyed a lot of the final fantasy games / kingdom hearts, though I’m not sure if that’s helpful.
I know that’s not a lot to go on but what would you guys recommend with that info?
