I'm planning on attending a scientific event in France and I was hoping to get my visa on time. I'm now losing hope, I may never make it on time to the event!

- I submitted a business visa (short stay) on April 2.

- VFS global sent my documents to the embassy on April 8 and since then I have no updates!

Tracking shows a visa application under process at the French consulate....

😵‍💫 Travel date: May 15! So in 5 days!!!

Question: should I just Cancel my travel plans?

I was planning on taking a 12 day vacation after the 2 days at the scientific event! Could this be the reason for the delay? Mixed purpose Business+ tourism??
