Was put on Focus and got off
I’m in AWS sales and was put on Focus even though my revenue attainment to quota did not match the efforts being put into my territory.
Also the numbers were misleading due to being given very large accounts 2 years in a row in the beginning of the year and then asked to grow that revenue by 45% in the same year. My skip level did not know those details and my manager openly admitted to not giving my skip all necessary information.
My manager put me on focus (or maybe PIP) when I was told I’m unable to transfer to a new team, need a mentor, and so on. My manager has since taken me off of focus (PIP) and now holds it over my head on a monthly basis.
The politics here are quite draining and just beg to work with authentic people. Did not get any additional RSUs now that all of mine are vested. Cant wait to work for a new company. They are successfully pushing me out the day.
