venting
im seeing more and more news about men assaulting and killing women for no good reason. im so fucking scared. what makes it worse is that im autistic so i have a really hard time with non verbal cues or someone hinting/implying something, and neurotypicals love to dance around wording especially when it comes to romantic and sexual topics. unfortunately in the past ive given men my contact info because i thought they just wanted to be friends with me. none of them ever ended up contacting me but it still scares me what couldve happened. i wear pepper spray on a lanyard everytime i leave the house because men dont how to leave us alone. why is existing so fucking unfair. men think that just because theyre nice to us or buy us dinner that we owe them something as personal and sacred as sex or sexual contact/attention. men think just because because theyre nice to us that we owe them physical affection or a romantic/sexual relationship (ive had an old man expect me to give him a hug just because he complimented me) men expect us to give them more than they give us, and if we dont we get harrased, stalked, assaulted or killed. i fucking hate this stupid fucking society.
