I just came across this game that has a geography Pokédex .
🌍 How it works:
A mystery country silhouette appears on screen.
You have 7 tries to guess it. Each wrong guess
reveals a new hint.

🗺️ What makes it different:
Every country you guess correctly permanently
lights up on a real world map in the background.
Over time you build a glowing personal atlas
of everywhere you've discovered.

There are 195 countries to collect and a fun
fact revealed after every puzzle.

Hey fellow guessers,

Fellow geography lover here. I built a
daily geography guessing game I think
this community will enjoy...

🌍 How it works:
A mystery country silhouette appears on screen.
You have 7 tries to guess it. Each wrong guess
reveals a new hint:

Hint 1 → Continent
Hint 2 → Climate & Terrain
Hint 3 → Number of land borders
Hint 4 → What it's known for
Hint 5 → Capital city
Hint 6 → Flag

🗺️ What makes it different:
Every country you guess correctly permanently
lights up on a real world map in the background.
Over time you build a glowing personal atlas
of everywhere you've discovered.

There are 195 countries to collect and a fun
fact revealed after every puzzle.

📱 Works on mobile and desktop
🔥 Daily streak tracking
💾 Sign in to save progress across devices

I built this solo over the past week using
React, Supabase and Vercel. Happy to answer
any questions about the tech stack too!

Would genuinely love feedback — especially
on difficulty balance. Is it too hard?
Too easy? Are the hints fair?

I just launched GlobeIQ — a daily geography
guessing game where you identify mystery
countries from progressive hints.

How it works:
🌍 A mystery country silhouette appears
📍 Each wrong guess reveals a new hint:
- Continent
- Climate & Terrain
- Number of borders
- What it's known for
- Capital city
- Flag
🗺️ Correct guesses light up a real world
map you build over time
🔥 Daily streaks keep you coming back

What makes it different:
- Real country silhouettes (not just flags)
- Your correct guesses permanently glow
on a world map atlas
- 195 countries to discover
- Fun facts revealed after each puzzle
- Works beautifully on mobile

Would love feedback from geography
enthusiasts — especially on the
difficulty balance and fun facts!
