EDIT: just use the original/OEM hardware folks.
The self adjuster lever keeps slipping off of the star wheel, idk if I’m doing something wrong or I should just get an OEM hardware kit. These are the parts from the power stop. I’ve been working on these stupid drums for like 6 hours straight. If you haven’t worked on this specific car don’t respond please, it seems like the drums change from year to year and for whatever reason these have insanely strong springs.
It seems like every other video people have no problem having it engage, not sure if it’s meant to be underneath the star wheel or not. When it’s in the “bottom position”/“slipped off” there is no clicking at all so I don’t think that’s how it supposed to be.
