So to get the question out of the way, I don't make amazing sandwiches. Nothing special, however I have tried to replicate my order many times to no avail. This is based on my go to, Turkey Provolone Mike's Way with mayo. I've tried a few different types of turkey, like Boars Head and Columbus. None of these fit the bill. I feel like meat from Jersey Mike's or Subway is more... smooth? It also has a different taste, a bit saltier and less meatier almost. Like the difference between a fruit n the artificial fruit flavoring.

The rest of the add ons taste a bit off too. Not in a bad way, but they're different. Lettuce from home always tastes different, no matter what I'm using it for. Tacos, sandwiches, burgers. It's almost like the lettuce is less detailed? Like home lettuce is hyper realistic while restaurant lettuce is low poly, still crisp and refreshing but less potent.

Tomatoes too! Istg home tomatoes are stronger, the ones in my Jersey Mike's sandwich blend in with the flavor making it cohesive. All the individual ingredients stand out when it's homemade.

Also! Ik food tastes better when it's made for you. I've had this issue since I was a kid when my mom made sandwiches for me.

Edit: posted a pic of most recent sandwich in comments
