Thinking about building a proper Quoridor app, is the community big enough?
Quoridor is one of my favorite strategy games but the online experience has always felt half-baked. Outdated apps, weak AI, no real way to learn or improve. I'm a developer planning to build something that does for Quoridor what chess.com did for chess:
- Real AI from beginner to grandmaster
- Daily puzzles, postmortem analysis with win probability graphs and blunder detection
- Ranked play with ELO, seasonal tournaments
- Lessons mode that teaches strategy progressively
- Clean modern UI, not flashy mobile game stuff
Right now I've only built the bot algorithms. Before I spend months on this I'm trying to figure out if Quoridor has enough of an audience to support it, or if it's too niche.
