I was banned by automated systems for account inauthenticity (whatever that means). 2 days after appealing, my account was restored. Whilst i am happy to have my account back, i can’t help but feel irritated by how trigger happy the automated banning system is. Most accounts banned for being inauthentic are ran by real people, whereas AI bot accounts are running rampant with no accountability!
It was a recently opened fan account that I didn’t label as such (it slipped my mind). There were no preliminary measures (e.g. being locked), it just went straight to suspension. I appealed the suspension, explaining that I made a mistake and I would appropriately label the fan account if it was reinstated. How likely is it to be unsuspended?
