Map of every "Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan" caller

Hi r/conan! I built an interactive archive of every Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan caller because I was fascinated by the people and their stories.

https://conafmap.vercel.app

Each entry includes where they’re from, what they do, what they asked Conan, and how the conversation unfolded.

Initially I was just curious about where all the fans were calling from. Over time it turned into a visual way to explore everyone who’s appeared on the pod/travel show. You can:

• browse fan callers by location on a world map
• find stats on countries/occupations represented
• explore fan questions/Conan's answers, and episode highlights
• see fans who later appeared on Conan O’Brien Must Go
• search, filter, and sort episodes
• use “fan of the day” to rediscover episodes
• listen to each episode

One of the things I didn’t expect while building this was how interesting the continuity becomes across the years. For example, Donovan, a minor league pro wrestler, was one of the first fan callers back in 2021 ("Fanhausen"), and later had that episode re-aired after he made his WWE debut. Moments like that make it feel less like isolated calls and more like a strange, worldly, ongoing community that somehow bonded over the quirkiness of a freakishly tall Irishman.

I’m just a fan who built this for fun, and there’s still a lot I want to improve. If you end up clicking around, thank you for taking the time. I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback, ideas for what’s missing, or anything interesting you notice while exploring it.

Appreciate you all & the teamcoco team 🧡
